CostumesThe choreography of different historical periods is closely related with the fashions of the time. Saltatriculi performs dances of different periods in the costumes of the period that supports and amplifies dance movements. The clothing of the 13th and 14th centuries was simple and allowed broad movements; the 15th century is characterised by sleek silhouette, heavily draped clothes and elaborate headgear; the stiff clothes of the 16th century make the figure seemingly larger. Most of the costumes have been created by group member Eve Valper, but others have also lent a helping hand. Pictures about costumes and costume-making can be seen here and here.
