About leader
Külli Kressa, the leader of the ensemble, was born in 1976. She studied historical dances with Jane Gingell, Diana Scrivener, Isabel Suri and Hazel Dennison, and early music with Lilian Langsepp and David Kettlewell. In the recent years, she has reconstructed dances from original texts of choreographers (Arbeau, Arena, Domenico, Caroso, Negri, Playford). Since 1999, she has choreographed dances for amateur theatre groups, and held dance courses for adults and children in Tallinn and Tartu. She has made choreographies for the performances of Tartu Antiigiteater – "Birth of Apollon", based on Classical Greek poetry, and "Fragments of Soul", based on Francesco Petrarca's eclogue "Parthenias" and Classical texts.
